I have always enjoyed hand making personalized greeting cards and invitations and have received a lot of positive feedback from friends and family. Everyone has always told me I should start a business selling cards and invitations, and although I have considered it, there were SO many companies out there already doing such a great job of it! So, although I have flirted with the idea at various times, I never pursued card making and invitations as a business.
The idea for Foxyboxes was born out of necessity and was first created before I even realized it. I was hosting a baby shower for my sister and wanted a unique way to present each guest with their favors to thank them for attending. After many hours of searching, it seemed the only thing I could find was the traditional solid color, low quality boxes and the ever so boring bags. Because I could not find anything distinctive and special, I decided I would create my own favor boxes for the party. They were designed to go with the theme of the party and added a special touch to the event…everyone raved about them!
Soon thereafter, I was hosting a dear friend’s bridal shower and once again, I decided that favor boxes would be a perfect touch. Having something fun and different to set at each guest’s place setting - something people will be excited about, and be able to use- would be a nice idea. As I was painting and embellishing the boxes, I thought…if I was looking for something like this, then I am sure there are others out there who are on the hunt as well!
It was then that Foxybox was born and it is with pride and excitement that each Foxybox is created. We hope you enjoy the products as much as we do making them and we hope they help make your event unique and extraordinary!
